Starting Point: parking place Gelenke in Corti/Chienes; from there always folow the No. 65 on an alpine path or forestry track to the Moarhof Alm (alpine pasture 1.833m). Following the same markers, walk to the Unterere and Obere Grünbach-Alm and then proceed to the Grünbachsee - lake (2.258m). 
To the west of the lake a trail leads you up to the saddle (the trail is not marked but can be found easly).
From the saddle walke up to the cross on the Putzenhöhe summit (2.438m) following the markers of the Pfunderer Höhenweg high route.
